The OBD2 mode is applicable to gasoline vehicles produced in the United States after 2004, while gasoline vehicles produced in other regions after 2008 can be used. Currently, OBD2 can only support more than 80% of gasoline vehicles currently in the market that comply with the OBD2 protocol.
